A short overview of what you can do here in these forums:

First of all start by registering, and mind to fill all information so that other skwalers do know where you are from, what board you do have etc.

Click on Inscription on top of the screen
Choose a pseudonyme
Choose a Password (twice)
give your email adress (twice)

enter manually the inscription code that is shown in bold in the request box below

select "J'accepte"
and click on the button "Soumettre l'inscription"

You are now registered

on top of the screen you should see
"Connecté en tant que <pseudo>"

Then you will probably want to switch all commands in English,
First click on Mes Contrôles at the top of the screen to change your preferences

On the left in the options part, click on Skin and Langages
and change Français to English (do not change the skin)
and now it should be a little more easy for you to use this forum.

The main functionalities of the forum are :
Posts Reading
Posts Reply to an existing subject
Create new subject
Send Personnal Messages
Send Mails

About posts, you can add pre-defined smileys but the will appear in bitmap only after submission of the post, before that it is displayed in ascii.
You can also join a picture to your post, but it must be in gif or jpeg format.
You can also attach other documents : word file, pdf etc.

Take care that your picture are correct (neither to big nor bad quality) before posting. If you made a mistake you can correct it :

You can edit or delete a message you already posted (useful to correct spelling mistakes).

If you create a new subject check if it do not already exists, if so only put a reply to the existing subject.
Choose a precise title for your subject.
When you reply, try to keep the subject in mind, if it does not corrrespond with the subject create a new one.

Ask translations for french posts that you think are interesting for you.

By clicking on a member name, you can either send him/her a Private message (pop up when you connect to skwalzone) or a mail.


Tip of the day :

Use the link "My assistant" on top of the screen (when logged in) to access all recent posts whithout having to search all the forums.
