Sam, you got me thinking ;)

A good way to tell is your bending or twisting your board right is to look back in the snow. If your seeing a flat space or a gap between turns there's something wrong.

Anyway for anone who can't read English here's a picture.

James I can't get you, how can you have a perfect single line :)

you can have a very quick transition between on side of the board to the other, but I can't see how you manage to have no transition at all...

;)
Ok given that a skwal is not as wide as an alpine board you can twist the board, so that the front edge is going into the turn at the same time as the back edge is leaving
et voila B)
le perfect turn and WOW!! a single line :o :o :o

NOTE: Your hips have to be in line over your board to do this- If you have a backside stance (even slight) as in alpine boarding this won't work. WITH a side-on stance your backside will be over the snow NOT the board in the turn and you'll get the gap or a split in the line as your board goes to flat, then into the next turn.
Give it a try
You'll know when you get it right- there's a real feel of control and your tracks look coooool B) B) B)

Good luck ;) ;)
