Imagenaerum vs Iridium?

Postby avante » 18 Jul 2014 19:47

Has anyone had a chance to directly compare these two new models?

Looking for something more grippy then RS176 with 10m.
~95kg and 190cm tall :)

MS seems to be an overkill for the snow conditions we have here most part of the season (soft mostly).

Nope, never heard of the Lagriffe Iridium before, but I definitely like the original design. With close-up views on this Russian web site

The iridium is a great skwal, with a perfect design, a little bit différent than the imaginaerum 173 : lighter with smaller radius.

He is really interesting because you can pass from a side to the other one instantly.

The grip is good like others lagriffe boards but he is limited when you do long turns with high speed.

The iridium is for me similar than the thias 173F, the most popular of thias boards, skwalers who likes this board in years 1995 to 2000 will find with the iridium a great successor with best quality due to the lagriffe expertise and high quality materials.

For answering your question Avante, the iridium will not give you a big advantage compared to an RS 176 if you want a skwal more grippy with a 10 meters raidus, He is mors grippy but the difference is not really big.

For this you will find your happiness with an MR 173 or imaginaerum 173.

For a guy with 95 kg an 190 cm tall i advise the MR 173, stiffer than the m-pride.

If you finally choose a 183 cm skwal, i advise you the imaginaerum 183, more polyvalent, it permits both to do big turns with high speed and smaller ones with less speed, also for a rider with your measurements.

I hope my poor english level will allow you to understand this answer.

LAGRIFFE MR173 Carbon
ne vous demandez pas ce que l'AES peut faire pour VOUS, mais demandez vous ce que VOUS pouvez faire pour l'AES et le SKWAL...
